Why not just do it at Washington High School like they do in the movies?
We know, we thought the same thing. However, alcohol is not allowed on school premises, so it would have to be a dry event – and what’s the fun in that?



Tell me more about Bimini Bar!
We heard loud and clear that most people wanted a waterfront venue with good seafood and a relaxed atmosphere. Set underneath Hemingway’s on Quietwater Beach, Bimini Bar couldn't be more perfect, and there are plenty of nearby spots for those who want to after-party. We will also have options for vegetarians, so rest assured there is something for everyone!



What does my ticket price include?
Your ticket price includes entry fee, food and entertainment. We looked into an open bar, but it made more economical sense to let people purchase their own beverages, keeping in mind not everyone will want to drink (so therefore shouldn't have to pay for a higher priced ticket.) Drinks are pretty affordable at about $3.50 a piece, so this seemed like the best option for the group!



What should I wear?
Well, of course school dress code will be strictly enforced, so no leggings, mini-skirts or shorts above fingertip length. Just kidding! The vibe will be upscale / casual, so wear whatever your heart desires.



What is the plan on Friday night?
If you've never been to Gallery Night on Palafox Street, you won't be disappointed. Pensacola closes down the streets and opens up the bars (and galleries, hence the name) letting you mix, mingle and sip wine, beer or cocktails. For those who want to meet up with a group, we'll be organizing a Pub Crawl, starting at Seville Quarter's End o' the Alley / Buck's Bar at 6 p.m. Stay tuned!



Will there be transportation to and from the beach?
Unfortunately, it is too pricey to organize transportation for the whole crew, but we will have cab numbers handy for those who would prefer not to drive home after the event.



Why did we choose a weekend during football season? I want to watch the game!
There is always a season; wedding season, graduation season, hurricane season and the holiday season! We know many of you are huge football fans and we'd hate for your miss your favorite teams, so we will make sure Bimini Bar and Hemingway's has a few TVs so you can catch the score during the event.
